Premium Date Powder (Dehydrated)– 120g

It is made by dehydrating whole Mazawati date fruit with the seeds removed, then grinding it into a fine powder. This is date fruit powder, not date seed powder: it keeps the natural sweetness and caramel notes of the fruit itself. There is no added sugar, no preservative, and no mixing with other sweeteners. کھجور پاؤڈر is simply dried date fruit, ground.

Replace white sugar with date fruit powder in chai, doodh, porridge, kheer, and baked goods at roughly a one-to-one ratio, then adjust to taste since date fruit is slightly less sweet than refined sugar. It adds a mild caramel depth along with sweetness. Diabetics should treat it as a sugar source, count it in their daily intake, and consult their doctor before regular use.

Most households use one to two tablespoons daily across chai, milk, and desserts. Date fruit powder is a natural whole-food sweetener, but it still contains natural sugars, so moderation matters. People managing diabetes, weight, or blood-sugar levels should measure their portions and check with their doctor. For children, small amounts in doodh or porridge are enough for a natural sweet taste.

Date fruit powder absorbs moisture quickly, so keep it in an airtight jar in a cool, dry place and use a dry spoon every time. Unopened, it lasts up to 12 months; after opening, aim to finish within 3-4 months for best flavour. If it clumps into hard lumps or smells fermented, discard it. Do not refrigerate, since condensation speeds up spoilage.

Pregnant and breastfeeding women can use date fruit powder in normal food amounts, as dates are a traditional part of desi diets; still, mention it to your doctor at your next visit. Children can enjoy it in milk and porridge. Diabetics must treat it like sugar: small measured amounts only, and only with their doctor's guidance, since it does raise blood sugar.

Pure date fruit powder smells of rich caramel and dates, with a soft brown colour and a naturally sweet (not sharply sugary) taste. The ingredient list should name only date fruit. If it tastes as sharp as white sugar, dissolves too easily, or the label lists glucose or dextrose, it has been mixed. Herbal Lagoons grinds Mazawati date fruit with nothing added.
